Walk on Monday 19th March 2018

11 of us (+ 2 dogs) enjoyed a lovely walk round the outskirts of Four Marks today - starting and finishing at the garden centre, where we had a good lunch.
The next walk is on Mon 30th April.
We are also planning to start up the cycle days again - now that the weather is (hopefully!) improving.

Monday 19th:- a walk starting and finishing at the Garthowen Garden Centre in Four Marks.  We have booked the little room there for lunch.  John & Jan will decide the route.

Monday 30th:- a walk starting from the clubhouse heading up through the forest track to Four Marks and back by the Pilgrim's Way to Farringdon.  Lunch at The Rose & Crown. Then walk back via Chawton to the clubhouse.

26th February 2018

We had sunshine and snow flurries for our walk today around Old and New Alresford.

The walk was lovely and was followed by a splendid lunch in The Globe in a room overlooking the lake.

There were 7 of us today:  Steve, Ailsa, Hilary, Alison, Rosie, Gill (+ Alfie) and Ken.

Details of the February KIT

After a short winter/injury break, the monthly KIT competitions will resume on Monday 12th February.
It will be at the usual time of 9:30 - 12:30.

The players this time are:

Unfortunately, though perhaps not so surprising given the time of year, this KIT had to be cancelled on the day due to ice.

The next one will be on Mon 26th March and in the meantime there will be a couple of walks -  round Alresford on Mon 26th February and round Medstead on Mon 19th March - as usual, both involving lunch!

A Walk in January 2018

Ten of us had a lovely walk on 4th December around Alresford & Old Alresford finishing with a super lunch at The Globe.

We then had another walk on Mon 22nd January 2108 - around both ponds at Frensham followed by lunch at The Holly Bush.  We were very luck with the weather as that day was the only break in rain over quite a considerable period!

Mon 4th December 2017

Walking  - not cycling!

The date & format of the cycle ride on 27th November has been radically changed!  We will now have a walk round Old Alresford, followed by lunch at The Globe.  The date will be one week later on Mon 4th December.

Following various last minute changes of personnel this KIT was contested by:

The final ended up being John & Kate v Tim & Gill - with Tim and Gill winning 6-1

In other news, the cycle ride on Mon 9th October went well - culminating in lunch for 6 at The Sun in Bentworth.
