Food - September 2020

It is getting harder to think of new topics now that we have already had 23 of them!

....... and our 24th topic is "Bridges"

KIT completed!

We decided to replay the whole KIT final as a best of 3 sets rather than starting from the 5-4 scoreline from when we had to abandon the match last week.

So, at 9am this morning (Wed 30th September), it was:

Gill & Keith AO  v Rosie & Ken

The winners this time ended up as Rosie & Ken!

41st KIT competition!

We had our 41st KIT mixed 8 competition this morning.  We started at 9 in a bid to finish before the forecast heavy rain but didn't quite finish in time!

As usual it was great fun and the players this time were:

Don, Keith AO, Keith M and Ken + Gill, Rosie, Wai-man and Angela

The final ended up being:

Keith AO & Gill v Ken & Rosie

The score was 5-4 to Keith & Gill (with Ken to serve next) when we had to abandon the match due to heavy rain.

The plan is to replay the final next week on on Wed 30th Sept as a best of 3 sets match instead of just a 1 set match.

Shadows - August 2020

Shadows has proved a tricky topic this month - or perhaps people were just too busy with other things and then at the end of August the sun seemed to disappear!
