Our senses - May 2021

Here are the photos you have sent in on the topic of "sense(s)":

Sue - she can sniff out a pheasant from 100 metres!

Jan - she "senses" that something is happening!

John

Ken - and even with all this equipment I don't hear very well!

Kate - first I thought May was the sight and smell of the bluebells with the sound of birdsong

........ then the sight and smell of Wild garlic near Kings Pond

.......... and then the sight, smell, touch (harvesting) and taste of Wild garlic and asparagus risotto. Seasonal treat available in May.

Steve - a sense of achievement (half way up Helvelyn - please don't mention the other half !)

+

Steve - a sense of foreboding (exploding ice cream perhaps?)

Don - t
he sight and smell of the sea missed for far too long! (Sidmouth)

Don - t
he annual sight and scent of the carpet of bluebells never cease to amaze me  (Chawton)

Gaynor - summer sensation
