KIT - February 2024

This morning's KIT was played out between:

Arthur, Robin, David, Ken + Gill, Emma, Kate and Rosie

After the usual very enjoyable round robin games, the final was decided as being:

Robin & Kate v David & Rosie

Could David and Rosie retain the little trophy?  We never actually found out! 

 

Kate had fallen in one of the earlier games and her wrist was just starting to hurt.  So Emma replaced her.  Then early, in the one set final Rosie went over on her ankle and had to stop.  So for the first time ever we had a final decided by a withdrawal.  Not ideal obviously but hopefully both Rosie and Kate will make a full recovery very soon.

.... and I am delighted to report (7th Feb), that they are both recovering well!

Faces - January 2024

We started these monthly photograph compilations back in 2018 when I wrote this:  

• 1 photo from each of you every month – with the location, if appropriate
• Take the photo during that month – no looking back through the archives!
• Deadline is the end of each month
• No editing of the photo – just send the original image 
• Photos will be posted at the beginning of the following month and the new topic revealed

On the whole we have pretty much stuck to these rules - along with not having a like/dislike/comment facility!
