WIT - November 2024

The players this afternoon were: 

Kish, David, Greg & Ken + Tess, Caryl, Carey & Annie.

Amazingly the only problem with the weather today was the setting sun!

We had a great time in the round robin matches - David and Carey were the top scoring man & lady.  However the 2nd placed man and lady to feature in the final had to be decided on count back beteeen Kish & Greg and then on count back plus a racquet spin between Tess and Caryl!

The end result of all of this was a final between:   Greg & Carey v David & Caryl

The final itself was won by David & Carey with a score of 6-2, so congratulations to both of them!

KIT - November 2024

At the third time of asking we actually managed to play the 60th KIT this morning!

The players involved were:  Arthur, Ken, Andy & David + Rosie, Sue, Gill & Angela.

It was great fun (as usual!) and the final ended up as:

Arthur & Rosie v David & Gill

The final itself was a very close affair with massively long rallies.  

It was a lovely match to watch and it looked like it might be heading for a tie break, until David & Gill, on a match point, were the beneficiaries of a dramatic net cord.
