I chose this month's topic of "Reflection(s)" before the UK's national day of reflection had been announced for 23rd March.
Here is a thought/quote from Seamus Heaney that Gaynor sent me. I looked it up and discovered that it was written on a gatepost in Dublin in March 2020. Oddly enough, it is not a line of his poetry: it is from an interview that he gave in 1972, referring to the Troubles at a time when they were flaring up (again!)
Back to the photos now and to start here are a couple that the group didn't take but appeared somewhere else - the robin one Don found recently and the heron I saw a while back and took a copy of:
and now for our photos!
A couple from Alison
John
Sue - "a Covid reflection"
Sue - "Lockdown reflections"
Don - Reflection and recollections over half a century!
Meanwhile Steve & Angela had gone across to the Itchen for a walk:
(in the graveyard at Holyrood Church for people to decorate with flowers)
Here are 3 from Kate, taken on the rail network on National Reflection Day:
(showing empty trains, empty car parks and empty stations)
As you have seen, my rule about the number of photos seems to have gone out
the window! I can live with that - you have freedom to express yourselves!
............... and our next topic is: "Spaces"
